For sale: MKIII Nav computer from '01 E39

I've just completed an upgrade from MK3 CD to MK4 DVD nav computer so my MK3 is available. It is updated to the lastest version of US software the MK3 will use and is working perfectly. Anyone looking to upgrade from a MK2 can do this swap in 5 minutes. It works in a E38,E39,M5,E46,M3,X5 and is compatible with both the 4:3 and 16:9 screens.

My asking price is $350 including shipping anywhere in the US.

I also upgraded my trunk radio and CD changer so I could play MP3. My old round pin radio and six disk CD changer are also available if there is interest. These came out of an E39 with DSP.

Whatever doesn't sell here will be listing on eBay.

Cheers, Rick

Sorry, I just now saw your replies. I left town on Oct 30 for a 19 day trip and am sending this in the Med Sea between Marseilles and Genoa.

The MK3 is still available and the price is somewhat negotiable. From everything I've read, the MK2 to MK3 swap uses all the same hardware and hookups and is a 10 minute job. You can check out www.bimmernav.com to verify this.

I'll be back home around the 17th if we work something out by them.
