If I may ask ... Which company do you buy it from? Was it the manufacturer or was it ready made?

Was it born the USA, you think ?

How come you're not going to use it?

When you look really close at the weave ... How does it look to you? CLEAN ... with "NO Wavy Gravy" type marks in it ... Can you see any seams?

to answer your questions, gra8fuldd ed. i bought it from vis racing. i think its already made by another company but knowing vis. they slapped on their own badge and claim they made it. i'm not using it because i've lost my cf hood last month. to me personally, it wouldn't look right without the hood. the weave is 2x2. there are some wavy gravy due to the curves of the trunk. i'm pretty sure no other company can make it almost like perfect. i can post more pics if you like. i've shown the trunk to a lot of people in my area and they all like very much. everyone told me to put it on but i can't do it. i've lost my interest in it and thats why i'm selling it. i hope this answers all your questions.

I'd bet Mike Shaw made it, his product is the best I've seen.
