Have you driven an E46 M3 enough to know you want one?

More details on the car please - please PM me.

Thanks

I like E46M3 very much.
cr@p brakes are its only weakness but easy to remedy.
A quick car round the NS without drama.
A positve move.

Good luck m8

E46 M3's are brilliant cars. Not quite keen on the way they sound but like the brakes its easily changed.

Deep inside I want one but they only have 2 doors! If only BMW made a 4 door version like on the E36's.

I've treid to chase a few round the twisty bits and they soon vanish into the horizon.

There's a black one for sale with some uprated brakes and a few spare sets of wheels. Is that the one you're after? The owner failed his Nimrod-2000-drivingtest so was stuck in noisy Golf instead.....

I think they are hugely overrated. I have been in one at the NS and it felt a lot slower than I expected, and the driver nearly lost the back in Adenaeur Forst! Twice!. Its a hard-to-control projectile, which lacks the finesse of the E34. CSL is just a way for BMW to market the M brand, and save costs on manufacturing.

BTW all above is a carefully made web of lies to conceal my envy for this car. When I become as smart as Andy, I will get one, because I am out of kidney's to sell when I get the odd Winkelhock

Get one mate. Its the last proper M built ( sorry Ashok, want a manual!) and a natural upgrade from the E30-E34 M3 as the E36 M3 doesn't even really exist.
