For Sale

I am looking to sell my 2006 M5. Purchased in January of 2006, it has 5900 miles. Silver grey with black interior and fully equipped. I also replaced the stock wheels with 20" Maya wheels. Asking 89,500. If purchased new today, this car would cost 101,207 including the wheels with no additional Dealer markup. This car is simply too much for me. I never been driven this car in the manner it was built for. I guess I'm just a little too old for this. You may contact me via email(rocket109@aol.com) and if you are a serious buyer, we can proceed further. I am located in Orange County, California.

Sorry to hear that. You should post pics of your beast and the wheels. It's also likely you will get the most by selling the wheels separately.

Good luck.

Sounds kind of pricey to me. Especially after 5900 miles. One of the main points of buying a used car is to avoid the depreciation, and for that price you could almost buy a new one.

Conventional wisdom does not apply to the M5 market in Southern California. That being said, replacement cost at 102k vs asking price of 89k... 13k is a pretty good chunk of depriciation.

Just curious with what you might replace it?? And if you don't mind me asking, about how old are you?

Pricing sounds reasonable to me. The car is only five months old. With the exception of our esteemed Dubai member who is on his third M5, my sense is that most other members, including rocket109, babied the car for the first 3,100 miles and never really pushed it after that.
