Your price becomes fair if you get the car CPO'd for the next owner. JMHO.

BMW told me it was not possible to CPO the car! Unless a dealer buys it and sells it back to me!

I believe all the new owner can do is have the car checked out and if it passes buy the extended warranty. They are not transferrable if you were to do it.

You need to have the dealer buy it from you and sell it to the new owner- they CPO it in the process.

cpo costs them $1300...offer them $500 for their time to broker the deal and to do the cpo. (I've posted alot on this- search for posts by ard with cpo...ad nauesum)

Of course they will tell you it can't be done, but if you are 'cool' about it, and approach the right person at the dealer, it CAN be done- not 'officially'- BMWNA looks very unkindly on this, but on the face of it the transfer of ownership is 'clean' (you- dealer(cpo)-new owner)

Keep in mind that brakes and tires must be >50% to pass cpo (alledgedly...)
