If you are interested in selling, here is my wish list:

- documented maintenance
- located West Coast
- willing to pay fair market price
- would like to buy quickly
Please e-mail.
Thanks!

Re: WTB M5

Criminy... that might be the record for 'shortest time in the market prior to purchase'... 6 hours 20 minutes

Which car did you buy? Who's doing the inspection?

Re: WTB M5

OK, he's the details.....bought a 2003 Sterling Grey M5 w/all options i've seen listed. Has 33k miles. I paid $53k for it and another $1.2 to extend the warranty to 6 yr/100k miles. I was in a hurry to buy, my 325 was totalled in early Dec and I needed a car to get to work/kids to school. I feel a paid a few thousand premium, but got what I wanted. (I've always loved cars and an M5 has been my "next car" since 99. I just didn't expect to need it now.)

I may be naive, but I've had very good experience w/BMW quality (owned two previously), bought a relatively newish CPO car, got the extended coverage and a nearby dealer for service.

OK to tell me I'm wrong, would love to hear opinions. Sure looks nice parked out front as I write this.

Re: WTB M5

Not too bad at all.

You DO know that the "CPO" includes a warranty to 6/100k. Did you get a second, aftermarket warranty? This is actually not a waste since the CPO doesn't cover electronics... and you have the potential to have double coverage which might let you (a) double dip, or (b) eliminate any co-pays.

Nice color too!
