Beware of scammer Sean Vermeeren on Roadly OEM wheels

I responded to a wheels for sale ad on Roadfly on 5/25. So far since receiving my check on 6/2/05(I have signature card)and cashing it on 6/7/05, there has been no contact or return of my email attempts to contact him. This is in stark contrast to the almost daily feedback and even promises to let me know when the check arrived. Thankfully I used Certified Priority and got a signature receipt in his name. His address of 912 Queen St Bellingham, WA 98229, is the only contact aside from his email address of sean vermeeren from which he eagerly responded to my initial inquiries. This is the first time in over 30 transactions in 5+ years that there has been no contact from the seller after the $$ has changed hands. I may have been lucky. Hopefully this alert will serve as a warning to others who may be looking at this seller. I've also contacted law enforcement authorities and will be persuing other means of recouping this apparent loss.
His ad is listed under wheels in the E39 M5 section of wheels for sale.

Boy, that su*ks.

I emailed him for info on them- no response. Lucky me- your money was already there it sounds like.

Sean m. vermeeren graduated from the local community college in 2004 (google)

Good luck tracking down this dirtbag.

Of course paypal using a credit card or COD... I'll only send checks to known entities (like m5board members with long history..)

Re: Beware of scammer Sean Vermeeren on Roadly OEM wheels

I have verified this address through my sources. It says he lives there with Dirk and Kathleen of the same last name and his ss# was issued between 1988-1989. Could not get the phone # yet. PM me if you want to discuss further. I would call the the local police and the post office since he is on his way to comiting mail fraud. I would not alert him of this at all. Just do it.
