FS: Phone & Phone and VR Modules For E39

We turned in our '01 E39 530. It had a Verizon CDMA CPT8000 (Motorola StarTac in silver), phone module, and VR module. This was not part of the lease and we had the pieces removed by the dealer.

If you have an early E39 M5, this is an opportunity to add a voice response phone to it. I don't think the phone is very useful with out the VR. With the VR, you press the button. The car beeps. You say "Number". The car says "Speak Number". You say "2-1-2-5-5-5-1-2-1-2". The car says "2-1-2-5-5-5-1-2-1-2". You say dial. And the car connects you.

The phone was a reburbished unit (undistingishable from new) purchased in December 2003 after I lost the phone. Wife said, "Don't leave it in the car". Must of fallen out of my pocket. The new phone has virtually never left the car.

VR works pretty well. My new V710 is better. But in '01 this was very good.

A price hasn't established yet or any photos taken. We are looking to sell it as a package. Some people may want just phone. However the rest only has value with the phone.

Hopefully this setup will make some E39 owner happy. Postt or PM questions or offers.

Thanks,

David
