Exclamation FOR SALE: Five 18" Dinan Lightweight Wheels with Michelin Pilot Sport Tires

FOR SALE: 5 (3 rear and 2 front) 18" Dinan Lightweight Wheels with Michelin Pilot Pilot Sport Tires. The final selling price is based on the highest bid.

These wheels are currently installed on the beast. They are in excellent condition, but there is very minor curb rash.

The tires on the 4 wheels that are currently on the beast are Michelin Pilot Sport tires that are virtually new. They have never been on the track, and have been used for less than 1,000 miles. The 5th wheel is a rear with a Michelin Pilot Sport tire that has approximately 75% tread left.

The tires are 275 front and 285 rear. The wheels weigh about 17.5 to 18 pounds each, are forged and made for Dinan exclusively by Speedline Japan for SAC (Speedline America).

The wheels retail for $999 each from Dinan, and the tires retail for $351 (each front) and $338 (each rear) from Tire Rack.

The total retail value of the wheels and tires is: $6,711. They will be available in the next few weeks, once I have my new wheels/tires installed.

The beast has to use what he sells.

Cheers.

Hi Daniel,

On one of your posts, you mentioned rubbing. Please elablorate. Do the fronts need spacers?

The spacers are not required with these wheels. Even if you have a Brembo big brake kit, there is no need for spacers.

I use spacers only in the front because of the KW coilovers.

The wheels will fit fine if the M5 is not lowered, or if you don't carry large loads in the trunk. If it is lowered, or if you carry large loads in the trunk, then the fenders should be rolled, which is a very simple process. Once rolled there is no rubbing.

Cheers.

If you can find someone else on the message board that needs a set of new tires, then I wouldn't mind selling you the wheels and them the tires.

Cheers.

The current price (10-18) for 275/35-18s Pilot Sports is $302.00 at Tire Rack. The 285s are the same price as posted.

Here are some photos of the wheels on the M5. I will also post photos of each wheel with closeups. I just have to wash the beast first .

Chuckc,
If that is what they have up today, that's cool. I just listed what I found on www.tirerack.com on Thursday. They seem to have several versions of the same sizes. I don't have the discounted OE Viper tires. My tires are all the regular non-discounted version.

I prefer not to post a starting bid. These wheels are rare and are only sold through Dinan and it's dealers. I will be purchasing 4 new wheels/tires with the proceeds, so as long as the numbers match I will sell. I would be happy to entertain reasonable offers, and potentially even offer a discount on one of the products BeastPower sells, if someone was interested in a combined purchase.

Cheers

As listed in the Tire Rack site for the M5:

"Rear: 275/35-18 ZR Speed Rated Price: $302 Original Equipment Estimated Availability: In Stock"

There must have been a price change or they are now showing the discounted OE Viper tire in the M5 list.

Thanks for the photos. When you get a chance please post a pictures of the individual wheels. I am wondering about the "wheel rash".

The rash is minor and really only on the very edge. It is not something visible unless someone looks at the wheels from up close. I am also sure that it can be fixed if someone wanted to for about $100 per rash.

Cheers.
