2003 Black/Black/Alum - 59K Miles for Sale

My wife and I are moving to NY and for many reasons not going to keep the M5. I just purchased the car from a board member (ecalcagnino) in March of this year but things have changed. This is not a fire sale and I don't need the cash but I am realistic on the current values. Please do not litter this post. If you have a legit question, please ask, if not, please keep it to yourself. Details as follows:

2003 / Jet Black / Black / Alum Trim (sport int - no full leather)
Miles: 59,0xx as of 12/15/09
Options: Sunshades (side/rear), Parking Sensors, fold down seats.

Upgrades: Euro Armrest, Updated Nav Software with Perpective View, New Rearview Mirror (Sybesma), XM, IPOD, Bluetooth, Short Shifter, BSW Subs and speakers, Tinted Windows, Built-in K40 radar, Xenon Match Fogs, Upgraded tail lights, M Aluminum Pedals. Upgraded panel in trunk to store oil (pass side). Was CPO that just expired a couple months ago. Clutch replaced at 46K miles in 2007 under CPO. I have records going back to 2007 showing the following maintenance/repairs:

Dec 2008 / Final drive and diff replaced
Dec 2008 / New battery
May 2007 / Leaking Power Steering fixed
May 2007 / Sway bar links replaced
May 2007 / Both front rod bushings replaced
May 2007 / Replaced broken sway bar bracket
May 2007 / Inspection II completed
May 2007 / New clutch anf flywheel
May 2007 / Replaced stabilizer bar
Nov 2007 / Wipers replaced
Nov 2007 / Fuel Injection Flush

The carfax shows that I am the 6th owner but that is not the case. The first owner leased the car and it shows as 3 different owners for three years. Then it was sold to a guy in NJ and one of our board members bought the car from him. Car is in very good shape overall. Interior is in great shape shows very little wear. Usual stone chips on hood and front bumper. Carfax clean and I can provide upon request.

Front brakes just fitted less than 300 miles. Pads/Rotors from Dave Z. Tires are in really good shape. Lots of tread left. Car was covered under extended maintenance 72 months of 100K miles as well. All services performed by BMW or BMW Specialist.

Asking price: $25,699

Congratulations on such a quick sale, Mike! A good sign that the market for our Beasts is recovering nicely. Good luck on the move to NYC.

Thanks Peter. As usual I am having sellers remorse. Cannot believe that it sold in 1 day. Maybe I will get lucky and the buyer will back out .

I'm sure I will be behind the wheel of an "M" shortly. I really don't want to sell...... but it's the responsible thing to do.

Not sure what M car I'm going to get next. First order of business is to relocate my family to NY, get settled and take it from there. However, I can see myself behind the wheel of an E60 Alpine White over Black M5 in the future...... who knows. As they say, we make plans and god laughs....
