I bought these rims off a fellow board member a few months back. By the time I finaly got around to installing them I decided I prefer my stock rims...as such they’re up for sale again. I have the front tires but no longer have the rear tires. Asking 2,800.00 plus shipping.
Here a link to the add, it also has rolling vids.
Below is the original add and pics. of the original owners car.
I'm toying with the idea of doing something new/different. I'm kind of tired of the same old look and two years on one set of wheels is to much for me. These were built specifically for my car when it was in the body shop so the fitment is pretty much dead on for e39s. Some pulling/rolling is needed up front and just a simple fender roll out back will allow for clearance.
Since I'm not the type to BS I will say that the two front barrels were ******* once and professionally repaired. The wheels don't have any shakes and drive straight/balance out almost perfect. If someone is really anal about this I can get you in contact with Schmidt and get to new barrels made. This could also be done to narrow the front wheel a bit for better clearance.
The tires have no more then 3k in back and only a couple hundred up front due to road hazard replacement through direct tire (which still has 3 years left and carries over with the sale).
Wheels:
19x10 - ET10 (when on car add 20mm spacer which = -10mm final offset.)
19x11 - ET15 (You can run up to a 10mm spacer out back for some nice poke but it will rub if your as low as I am)
Centerbore is 74.1
Tires:
Falken 452 235/35/19
19x10s all around with some BS tires from tunershop.com would run you $6,000 plus shipping. These are 19x10 19x11 with good tires so your getting closer to a $7,000 set of wheels.
To tell you the truth the " stretched and slammed" look does nothing for the performance of our cars. It looks good on vdubs, but ask those guys how it handles?
i wanted these rims for aloooooooooooong time 525it_feen or somthing like that they were his. amazing rims. i just didnt have the money at the time. a month later i spent close to that amount and had 2008 650i wheels custom fitted to my car.
gl with the sale!!
