FEELER: Sumitomo HTRZ III Tires: 275/30/19 and 245/35/19
I got these tires earlier in the year, but I ended up using them (gently) less than 1,000 miles, most of which were during my commute on the highway during which my average speed is 40mph. I am now considering going back to 18s in the spring, so I'll have no use for these.
A set at Tire Rack is about $820 + shipping and I'm open to reasonable offers. They are off the car and ready to be shipped, should someone want them and we end up striking a deal.
If there is some interest, I will post pictures showing thread-wear in the most typical coin-measuring fashion.

No worries, I actually need 4 as I am putting those on my RS4 and they are the same size on all 4 corners.

Heh heh. Grip is not something it necessairly needs, but I feel the stock 255s are just too narow (especially since the rim is 9 inches and can easily handle a wider tire). Many have gone the 275 route, makes the steering even heavier, which I like. I ran 275s on my E39 M5 all around (on rear rims with spacers), loved the look and riding characterisitics.

Here are pictures. As you can see, they have plenty of life left. I barely broke them in. I didn't have a penny, so I used a dime. Still, you can see that they all have plenty of thread left.
