Rear Stoptech calipers (red)

Looking for the Stoptech ST-22 rear calipers, will consider the ST-40 if the price is right, red powdercoated (to match the front calipers I currently have installed). Prefer cross-drilled rotors but that is not required. PM me if you have what I need or reply here. Thanks.

I am still looking for the ST-22 brake kit or at least the calipers. I have decided to stick with the OEM rears so I will have to stick with the ST-22, although a set of 18x9.5" Style 37 M-parallels may be in the future. Red calipers wanted, I already have SS brake lines (which I am fairly sure will work with the ST-22 caliper) and would prefer cross-drilled rotors. Let me know and maybe we can try and work something out. Thank you.

Yeah, I don't need them just want them so no rush. I had a purchase all set up with a fellow board member and then they were STOLEN from him after they were all boxed up ready to be shipped to me. Just got to keep trying. Thanks, though!

Josiah

Could you please post pics of your car from the side with your current set up? I'm also looking (but not rushing at all) for a rear set of red ST22's. I just purchased Dave Z's front ST40 calipers. I originally wanted silver to match the OEM silver calipers in the rear but I couldn't pass up the deal. So now I'll have red up front and silver out back. I'd like to see how this looks. TIA.

I have ST-40 in front w/ cross-drilled rotors and stock calipers in the rear, painted red. Check out my post here. There is a picture on the first page of the side. Let me know if you need other pictures; I am at work now but I am pretty sure I have other pictures on my laptop at the hotel. I am in San Diego (sans M5) so I won't be able to take pictures by request.

Thanks. Not a problem. I didn't realize your rears are painted red. At least your fronts and rears are matching somewhat. I hope mine won't look too off. I plan to keep the rear stock silver til I find a good price on ST22's.

You know the Stoptech calipers are just painted, I think. When I clean the front wheels if I brush up against the calipers with the terry cloth rag the rag gets a little "pinkish." I might consider just getting ANY ST-22 caliper and just paint it. I am a tinkerer and would consider it just something else to do. The price would have to be really good (but fair, of course) in that case, though. All I want at this point is the caliper. I will worry about the rotor later. Good luck with your search.
