I have a set of brand new ceramic coated headers for a left hand drive E39 M5. 1 3/4" tubes with a 2.5" collector. Each header is one piece, unlike Supersprint. I bought them a few months ago and haven't gotten around to installation, and I don't see it happening soon. They were made by a shop called A1 Performance Exhaust in California.
I'm asking $2000 + 3% for paypal fees, buyer is responsible for shipping.

I believe you would have to have a muffler shop make pieces that would go from the exits of the collectors to the beginning of the cats. This would be a simple enough job for your basic shop. I think Supersprint is the same in this respect, but I could be wrong.

Still available. These are real nice. A member here has told me they are the same thing bend for bend as Supersprint headers.

This is a good price for a set of headers in comparison to Supersprint and Dinan. Also, these headers are already coated which supersprint headers are not from factory. A1 performance exhaust make these custom for you Firebird?
Have these same units been installed yet? The one piece design requires jacking up the engine right? I notice you are also in SoCal did you have a shop lined up to do the install?

I bought these from another member here, not from A1. Same deal as me, he had them a while and never ended up actually installing them.

These have never been installed, brand new. I believe installation would involve at least jacking the engine, and possibly dropping out the sub-frame. I'm actually in NJ, not SoCal.

At a minimum, the drivers side has to be lifted to get off the stock exhaust manifold, so yes the engine has to be lifted, at least according to my installer. SS headers do have an optional downpipe, I got them, but at least for me, the fitment needed some work. My installer said he could have just as easily fabricated them, so that is not a big deal for anyone contemplating these headers.

Jerry
