At your target price, you are only going to find a high mileage M5 or one with a suspicious history.

BTW, you are never going to find a space gray car for $38k.

Maybe you should look for a V8.

Get a grip bro! I have a dealers license and your price with tax is a dream! There are auction fees and shipping fees and you want tax included! Looks like you better start looking for a E39 cause you are smoking crack if you think any dealer is gonna give one of those away! Times are not that bad and used cars are what are selling right now.

I am a licensed dealer, and I buy cars to-order for people for a living. I can provide hundreds of references, and have never disappointed anyone.

For anyione looking, I can send you the particulars on my buy-to-order program. I provide the car, fully prepped, for 5% over my cost. Email me for further details directly at brucem105@comcast.net.

As others have said on here, you get what you pay for. The M5's selling for under $35K at Manheim are sh*t cars. And once you buy it, you own it. I won't buy those cars for anyone.

You can see for yourself that they are yellow "below average" condition cars, which can mean a lot of different things: hit and repaired, hit and not repaired, mechanical issues, LLBB title, etc etc. But common sense tells you that if one with 35K miles sold for $6K less than one with 37K miles, there's a good reason for it.

You fcuking people are hilarious. Why don't you just go to "rent a wreck" and buy a goddamn Chevy Impala. I've never seen so many bottom feeders on one site in my entire life. You think you're going to get an E60 M5 for $35-38K?? I tell you what, let me go wreck mine about three times and have Maaco take care of the repair job, put about 60k additional miles on it and you can buy it for $36K. Sound like a deal?

You are best served looking at an '02 Acura RL. Thats more in your price range. Have fun.

And for what it's worth --- I'm trading my '06 M5 in for a 997S for $44K. ......and getting a clean, loaded (including ceramic brakes) '06 997S for $49K. So it doesn't take a rocket scientist to realize that if I'm getting a good deal on the 997S and they are paying me clean wholesale for my M5...the chances of you finding an e60 M5 for $35-38K are about as good as the DC Nationals winning the World Series. In other words, it ain't gonna happen.

I am, but thanks for policing the forum. Let's kick out all the people like me that are NOT paying to be here!
