I replaced the joints looking for a thunking sound. We started there and found that the sound lessened, but the real solution was the center link. It is hard to diagnose suspension noise in the M5 since none of the worn parts had visible place and the noise is transmitted through the whole front end. I thought the car would be hard to sell without that repair. It is in very nice condition.

Can't believe this is still on the market! Great price for a nice condition lower-mileage M5!

Is this car still available? I am not sure if I can get PM/s or send them yet. I just joined the forums. I am a previous owner of an E46 M3 and would love to add an M5. This one is almost exactly what I am looking for. Please let me know your most recent and lowest price you would consider. I don't want to lowball and I am not quite familiar enough with the pricing on these to make an accurate offer.

Thanks!

Tim
