MY BEAST IS DEAD/ 02 BMW M5 (salvage title)

Well guys it has been fun, informative and a great pleasure to be apart of this forum with you BMW enthusiasts. Now for the HORRIBLE NEWS STORY OF THE DAY. I just returned from out of town late Sunday night. I put a few items in the BEAST and locked it up for the night as I was spending the evening with my girlfriend. Not even 5min. after I locked the car down and get in the house and upstairs, I hear a loud CRASH!!!!!!! Thinking nothing of it i go down stairs to take a look and I thought I was having a nightmare. I see my 02 BMW M5 (which i would like to ad is my dream car and I just purchased in January) is about 200ft. from where i parked it and sitting in the middle of the street, with no signs of a trunk or Back Window. I look over to see 3 people staggering out of a White 4 door Ford Explorer. I imediately lost control and started yelling and screaming almost to the point of tears. These freaking drunk underage kids hit my car and destroyed it on impact. Of course the police show up 30min. later and go through the motions and finally arrest the driver. It does nothing for the pain I feel when i see my car in the middle of the street as if one of my own friends or family were lying there DEAD. Well a little history on the car. I've been searching for a M5 on and off or about 2-3yrs. I finally find 1 thats worthy and I can purchase my dream car. It was a 1 owner with a clean carfax and almost as perfect as could be. A few things i did to the car while i had it in the short period of time.

Asking Sale price $8,000

Sorry to hear. If you decide to part it out, please let us know. Most importantly, you werent hurt, nor it sounds like were the other drivers. Im glad it wasnt 5 minutes earlier. Think of that when your stomach turns, just think, it couldve been 5 minutes earlier.

Very sorry about your beast but at least you weren't hurt.
You should be able to get more than 8k If you can deal with the hassles of parting her out.

First of all, I am glad you were not in the car. Secondly, if you part out, I would like to purchase your Dinan wheels.
