2001 Carbon Black M5, New Pics, New Price

2001 Carbon Black metallic M5. Black interior with aluminum trim, M-audio with the subwoofers and fold down rear seat. 100,400 miles (daily driver, so miles will go up slowly). Maintained by BMW dealer, runs perfect with no issues. Recently had to replace the electronic throttle actuator ($525 part). Also at 100k I just replaced the fuel filter, VW MAF's, precat O2's, Royal Purple tranny and Diff fluids, Guibo, and new spark plugs also - All work was done by me (and with much help from this board). I took it for a nice drive today and everything is running great. It has the updated nav software and a 2007 nav cd.

I recently found out (after some investigating by me) that the previous owner had a tire blow out and hit a curb with the rear wheel. It was turned into his insurance for a total repair of 12k So on the pass rear side it has a bunch of new suspension parts, subframe, new tire, new rear wheel. All was done by BMW with factory parts. I should have a parts list soon. I didn't even know this had happened after a year of ownership (didn't show up on carfax when I bought the car), until a PPI was done a few weeks ago by a potential buyer.

Has minor modifications: Rogue Short Shift Kit and tranny bushings, Magnaflow exhaust ( Xpipe and mufflers), Blacked out front grill, brake ducts. Also just installed about 4k miles ago were Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 tires.

NEW Asking price, $18,500 OBO.

New Pics I took today (02/01/2009):

Clutch was replaced at 82k by previous owner. It grabs strong, never had any slipping.

Suspension is stock as far as I know. Besides all the stuff that was replaced when he hit the curb.

I'm not sure. They wouldn't tell me the full details when I called, but I found out from another perspective buyer that the rear subframe was replaced along with a few other parts. After doing some investigating and emailing the previous owner, he hit a curb on the pass side and everything was fixed at BMW. Truthfully I didn't even know about it and I have been under the car a handfull of times doing the diff fluid, guibo, etc but still didn't see any damage. I guess it was all fixed correctly. I'm supposed to get an email from the previous owner with a list of all the parts/work they replaced on it. But I know it has 2 new pass side wheels, and some other suspension items that are about a year old.
