Did the previous owner run on the track with these tires?

tires should have dates stamped on them. i will check my ps2 in the morning and tell you where its at if you cant find it...

I was the previous owner of these tires. I bought my M5 with 24K on the clock and the previous owner was from somewhere in Monterey, CA. I did not track the car and the car had such low miles and beautiful shape that I doubt they track the car. However, I don't have anymore information than that.

Ok, I found the DOT marking, with last four numbers being 1803. If that is the correct part of the number, these tires are quite old. 18th week of 2003 they would have been made.

Here are several tips to help increase the life of your tires:
1. Don’t speed. High speeds generate excessive heat, which increases the rate of tire wear and reduces the tire’s durability. Drive the safe, legal speed limit.
2. Avoid fast turns on curves and around corners.
