Savannah Area E34 1991 M5 $9000!!!

I am posting this car for sale again. I am asking $9,000.00. Feel free to PM me with any questions. Currently the car has 154,000 miles. I must sell this car as soon as possible as a personal tragedy has befallen my family. All of the recent miles have been clocked driving between Greenville, SC, Statesboro, GA, and my home in Pooler, GA. This is cruise control, 75 mph interstate travel predominantly.

I am the third owner of this particular car. Purchased new in 1991 in central Florida and moved to Greenville, SC in 1993 when purchased by the owner before me. I have many but unfortunately not all of the records on this car. While owned by the couple I purchased the car from it was serviced almost exclusively by Century BMW in Greenville

When I bought the car it was in very good shape but I have made several repairs, upgrades and modifications.

  • Rebuilt the front suspension
    • New control arms upper and lower forged aluminum
    • New tie rod ends
    • New drag link
    • Ireland Engineering Fixed Upper Camber Plates (-1.0 degrees)
    • New sway bar center bushings (urethane) and end links
  • New rear suspension dog bones
  • New belts
  • Mobil-1 15W50 oil exclusively since I purchased the car changed every 3000 miles
  • 3 New Power steering and SLS Hoses
  • UUC Shiftworks shorter throw shifter
  • DEPOT euro projection fog lamps
  • New underhood insulation
  • All but one underhood plastic cover has been replaced
  • New before I bought the car washer bottle and radiator overflow bottle.
  • New cap, rotor on the distributor
  • New spark plug wires
  • New spark plugs
  • Cleaned, painted, detailed intake plenum and cam cover
  • New correct style OEM lighted shift knob
  • New Goodyear tires
  • New exhaust hangers
  • Later M3 style cam chain tensioner
  • New BMW vacuum hoses
  • New Rogue Engineering rubber transmission mounts
  • New motor mounts
  • Repaired front seat power cables
  • New right rear SLS strut
  • New headliner
  • Used doorpanels dyed to match with SEM vinyl dye with custom suede inserts to repair the typical E34 delaminating problem
  • Replaced the dash pad with a used unit
  • As you can see from the pictures located at http://flickr.com/photos/18153583@N0...7602916836026/ this car is in great shape but is not perfect.

A quick video on Youtube is here http://youtube.com/watch?v=oEkTxyNeVgM

I have some parts and materials that go with the car that I have not had an opportunity to install myself.

1.Two set of turbine wheel covers, 5 right, 3 left
2.Eight center covers (four plastic, four metal)
    3.Rear subframe bushings
4.New water pump (old one is still good planned to replace as preventive maintenance)
    5.New thermostat
    6.New radiator hoses
7.Old belts are in the trunk as spares
8.Correct silver paint and clearcoat to repair the wheels.
9.The missing seatbelt guide for the back seat
10.I have copies of the factory service manual and Bentley manual to go with the car.
11.A Dinan computer chip will be included with the sale as well.

The issues with this car are:
  • The seats had been dyed by the Bavarian Auto Spa in Greenville, tate>SCtate>
  • There are two seams in the back seat top that have split.
  • The leading edges of the front wheelwells and hood are starting to show stone chips.
  • The previous owner had banged the front and rear of the car lightly. All original body panels are in place.
  • email me at poolerbuicks@yahoo.com or PM me.

Well, the car has now clicked 155,000 miles. It still is a great car. I still need to sell it. Please make me an offer on this car as I need to sell it sooner as opposed to later.

Good evening man. Sorry for the family issues and hopefully everything works out in your favor, but God will handle the situation. Anyway, I wish you were selling in Feb of 2009 because I have gone through some things as well (you know how the real estate buissness is). Hope you get a seller soon. But, if everythings cleared up now and your not in a hurry, PM me PLEASE!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry about the tragedy that has befallen your family. You have a pretty well put together M5. I already own one and I am tempted at the 8k price. Its amazing to me how cheap these babies are going for. Good luck on sale man, I really hope it moves soon.
