Up for sale is my anthracite gray m5 with black leather interior. The car is in excellent condition throughout and is a joy to drive. Below are more details...I will be as honest as possible, as I would expect from others:
Exterior: 9.5 out of 10
-accident free
-few rock chips on front
-rear bumper has a couple of minor scratches
-one very minor dimple (not even a ding) on driver door
-otherwise the finish is excellent and reflects great care, all panels line up as expected
-wheels are in good shape, no curb rash, but minor scuffs around perimeter of rims
-tires have lots of tread left
-the car is parked in a garage at home and at the office
-I understand the car previously resided in a "beach house" garage on the east coast for most of it's life
Interior: 9.5 out of 10 (being very conservative)
-all black leather interior, including headliner and dash
-seats are in excellent condition, no rips/tears, very little wear
-carpet is excellent
-two minor marks on the metal trim near the radio and shifter
-stereo works great, except CD player skips occasionally
-trunk area is very clean, little to no wear
Mechanical: 9.4 out of 10
-car runs very strong, no issues
-all stock
-oil and air filters recently changed
-air blows very cold
-clutch works great
-no SES light
-slight driveline whine at 70mph
-otherwise drives straight, no shimmys/shakes, handling is amazing
When I began looking for an M to buy, I preferred an '01-'03, but the condition of this car and it's history changed my mind. You will not be disappointed if you are looking for a low mileage m5 in outstanding condition.
