WTB: Sterling Gray Beast

Where are all the Sterling cars? Anyone, anyone?

If you are considering selling, PM me and let's discuss.

Best,

I just bought mine recently from fellow board member PilotMike. I was looking for a Royal Red 2001, but could not find one. Sterling Gray was my second choice, but it has really grown on me. If you need someone to do an independent first assessment of one in SoCal, let me know. There was recently a very low mileage Lemans Blue M5 for sale in Simi Valley, CA, but I haven't seen any other Sterling Grau cars for sale. Good luck in your search.

Tony!!!

I checked this one (Sterling Gray '03 in Aliso Viejo, CA) out a week and a half ago. It's in great shape. Paint and interior are both in excellent condition. Engine pulls strong, chassis feels nice and tight, no creaks or clunks, etc. Owner is a really nice guy. I think it has ~ 44,500 miles now. I passed on it because I found a lower mileage, Dinan-modified car with fold-down rear seats (which this car does not have).
But I would recommend this one highly. Owner has a brand new Audi S8 now...

There's another Sterling Gray up in Santa Clara, CA. Check SF Bay Craiglist. It's a 2003 with roughly 45k miles as well, but it has the luxury interior, so wood trim, black leather seats with the lines on them, and the real leather dash (nice). The paint and interior on that one is in great condition as well, but I didn't drive it (decided I didn't like the interior combo). This car has extended warranty and maintenance stuff too, but the owner is asking like $45k for it -- which is more like "pay for all the warranty work you might ever need up front."

There's another Sterling Gray in Anaheim, CA at a used car dealer. It's a 2003 with around 50k miles, but has ghastly chrome wheels. I think that one is on AutoTrader.

Those are all the Sterling Gray cars I had on my radar... Hope this helps!

Brian

Thanks bwherry. Did Tim seem at all willing to budge off his asking?

Thanks again.
