Perfect car but I need to narrow it down to one vehicle. 2004 X5 4.8is is the remainder for this single dad!
It was brought to my attention that this car has been discussed on the m5board in the past - a few months prior to my purchase. As everything listed was contrary to what I knew, I've spent the day doing some research and want to set the record straight:
1 - This is a two-owner vehicle. The first owner purchased the car from BMW of Arlington. They traded the car back to BMW of Arlington roughly one year later. I purchased it from BMW of Arlington a few months after that.
2 - This car has never been sold at auction. BMW of Arlington did send it to auction a few times as they were having no luck moving it themselves as it was winter.
3 - The car had not been in an accident although there was a small amount of paint work to the driver-rear of the car. The notes from the body shop stated "parking lot rub".
All that aside, the car is absolutely sound, the paint is in great shape, and I have no reservations either showing the car or accommodating anyone who wants to have it inspected.
I'm lowering the price another $1,000 due to the change in information. It's now $39,500 as it sits and $38,500 if the extended warranty isn't wanted.
