E39 M5 Kelleners Exhaust

After a long hiatus, I'm going to try to sell my Kelleners Exhaust again. The car was sold last year. So this has been sitting in my garage since then.

I have a very lightly used Kelleners Exhaust for an E39 M5. I only put a few thousand miles on it. Heck the M5 it was one only has 7,350 miles on it total after 3 years. It was probably put on 3 or 4 thousand miles ago. Anyways, I took it off the car in preparation for it to be sold and am selling the exhaust separately.

I'm asking $1200 and I believe I have the original shipping box still. Great shape. Comes with clamps for attaching to current exhaust pipes. Prefer local buyer around Washington, DC. But will ship at cost if buyer pays.

I have a bunch of pictures.

Still available, although I have one person that seem seriously interested.

David

I didn't know that there was more than one version. I thought they had two different sized tips, 73 and 83mm. These are the larger tipped ones. Perhaps they are the loud ones, based on that criterion? In any case, great throaty sound. But not loud enough to run into problems with the men in blue.

What about inside the car? Back seat? etc... Any drone or resonance or annoyances to passengers, etc?

Hi! Long time.

Actually no significant resonance inside the car. There seems to be a lot of soundproofing in the E39. You almost think it is too soft from the inside. But from the outside, it is quite awesome. I don't know about rear-seat resonance (never sat in them while the car was moving!), but none really from the front.

Hi David...yeah, I can't believe it has been, what, 3.5 years since BMW CCA Techfest there in DC? Time flies! I've stressed over whether or not I should have bought your M5 as a long term keeper. What did you end up selling it for?

Hope all is well with you and your family.

Chuck
