Got pulled over AGAIN for exhaust! (Meisterschaft GT 4 sale)

After getting pulled over and ticked a few days ago for having a loud exhaust I get pulled over again! This time its around 1:00am last night, again near my house, just after getting gas at the gas station, again I was not hammering on the throttle. Cop comes up to the car and says "Could you please step outside sir" I am like, how is this happening to me again. I step outside and he says, that exhaust is illegal. I say, yes I am well aware of it and that I was ticketed for it just a few days ago. Now we says, have you been drinking? I am like no, I have not had a single drink (which was absolutely true), he still makes me follow the blue light with my eyes, makes me do the breathalyzer. He is pretty polite about the whole thing, but I really do not appreciate being pulled out of my car at 1:00am on my way home after a long long day at work. He says ok I am going to let you go with a warning, I say "Thank you officer" Then he starts asking me all kinds of questions about the exhaust, where it was made, who installed it, was there any label on the exhaust that said "not street legal" etc etc. He says he is amazed that manufacturers and shops get away with selling these things to the public. I listen patiently to what he had to say, and finally say "see ya"

So, I am done with the exhaust, although I think it sounds truly amazing, I do not want to give the cops an excuse to pull me over and figure out what they can get me for. My Meisterschaft GT is up for sale, has less than 200 miles on it, install pics here. If anyone here wants it, please send me a PM or email me at mrhonest@dcsportbikes.com with an offer. Hope someone can get to enjoy this exhaust. Thanks Communistwealth of Virgina, you got me yet again

Why you must you sell? Moving isnt an option??

haha yeah that does suck though. My dad has never been pulled over for his exhaust (and his is lounder than yours), but then again you just about never see a cop on the road over in Ft. Myers (or at least I didnt).

That truly sucks! As much as I respect police officers and the job they do, I can see why you would be concerned that some son of a ***** in a bad mood decides to pull you over and harass you. At the end of the day, it is really the lawmakers we shold be blaming for these stupid rules.

Was it a state or county cop? If it happened in Fairfax it does not surprise me at all. FFX cops are the biggest bunch of pricks!

BTW: I see Reese installed the exhaust. Nice guy to work with.

Fairfax county ofcouse. I am moving out of this state as soon as I can. District of Columbia or even Maryland is looking attractive. Yeah Reese is a good guy, probably will take it back to him for removal.

I was at his shop the other day trying to get a quote on installing Magnaflow mufflers. He said he did a car couple of weeks back and it was more work the he had thought! I am starting to think he may have been talking about you
