Las Vegas Meet - 12/2-3 or 12/9-10?

For visibility reasons, I'm going to first post here and it can later be routed to the "Events and M5 Group Meetings" area.

It's been just over six months now since our last M5Board gathering in Las Vegas. The last one late Spring this year was an absolute success and lots of fun. The interest level to have another gathering is brewing and it's time to plan a date.

Being that I helped with the last one, I'll go ahead and spearhead this one again. As to not conflict with Holiday schedules this time of year, the best time for most will more than likely be early December starting on 12.08.06 with travel to Las Vegas and check in/gambling/playing, etc.

Then on Saturday 12.09.06 we can plan our first event which I would recommend the buffet at Rio for lunch and then a drive out to Valley of Fire which is about 60 miles Northeast of Las Vegas. Lots of back roads and the best will be sunset around 4:30pm when all the rock ignites in a red glow.

After that we will head back to Vegas and get ready for dinner. I think around 7:30pm we should make reservations for dinner at Hofbrauhaus Las Vegas located at 4510 Paradise Road, Las Vegas, NV 89109. Their phone number is 702.853.2337 and web site is www.hofbrauhauslasvegas.com. Great food, beer and lots of fun.

On Sunday 12.10.06 we should start early (7:00am) with breakfast and then a drive up to Mt. Charleston (only 45 minutes from Vegas) and hopefully we will have snow and Winter Wonderland. The drive up is rather fun and twisty in some areas, especially if we explore the paved back roads.

That should then make it a wrap. Lots of photos can be taken and video.

Let me know who is interested and I'll start posting a list.

You know I'm in. I couldn't make it last month as I had told you I would. It would be nice to see you guys again. Btw bike runs awesome, I guess the alarm is draining the battery, had to slap a battery tender on it. Can't wait to come to Vegas!

Way to go Haidar. I'm so glad you are enjoying the bike. I knew it would be in good hands too. I was hoping you would be able to come to Vegas since last time had to be cut short for you.

I'll PM/e-mail some of the other guys who came last time and see if they are going to make it again....like a reunion in a sense.

So far we have....

1. laidbacknags
2. #9batmobile
3. 1mpowerme

Once David (Archille) gets off his behind and reads this post, I'm sure he's in. He actually said he was in when we started posting the idea on the SEMA thread.

I am in. Hopefully have an m5 by then, if not, I will cruise on the bike or something

Open to non-M5 people? Boss has an S4 and might be interested in a fun weekend.

...So you sold the Raven to Haidar, eh! Glad to see you back on 2-wheel again, Haidar.

I am in for the next get together. Let me know what I can do to help.
