3/19/06 NW M5 meet pictures..

Ok, first off I would like to thank HPINFO/his family and FAST4DOOR for comming down to the meet. It was a BEAUTIFUL DAY As you can see in the pictures, there were only three of us that showed up for the meet. I don't know what happend to everyone else that said that they were comming (mostly portland area guys) did not show up. We got to the parking lot of Wal mart around 930AM and stayed until 11AM. Then we decided that there is no point waiting any longer. We decided to make the best of it. We headed to St Helens. We brought 2 way radios so that we can talk while we were driving. This was my first M5 meet. I and others were so disappointed of the turn out. I have been to other meets like Audi and had better turn outs. After talking to info and 4door we decided we should have a meet in Seattle next time. So if the Portland members want come you will have to come to Seattle. The place is most likely to be Alkai beach. I will also be asking few of my fellow Audi members to join us. Maybe next time we can have more then "THREE" to show up on a meet.

So on with how the meet went. Look at the pictures there was a lot of snow up there. We went as high as we could go with our beast and had to turn around. Info and I got stuck and had to be pushed out. You can see the altitude in my nav shot. Are we crazy? It was a nice fun drive. We took turns leading and talking about future mods and stuff. Out of the three, my beast was the slowest one . After today I realized that I need to do some performance mods. We went around some twisties and eventully ended up on Mt. Rainier highway. He bumped into some bike riders and had a nice chat. After that we pretty much parted and headed our way home. It was fun you guy!!! Another one soon

I think we could check the posi marks and verify the 'between the lines' claim.

Great job getting the pictures up so quick Kalvin. That was a blast (except for the getting stuck part.)
