We are planing a gathering here on the Isle of Man, the date we are looking at is Friday 17th, Sat 18th & Sun 19th March.

I have spoken with DukeTrack days and Sat 18th March is currently free, the cost of a half day event, including full marshal cover, medical cover, recovery and £5m Public Liability cover for a half day is £2000. This would give us unlimited use of the track from 9am - 1pm.

So for those not all that good at maths.. if we get 10 people over then a morning at the track would be £200 each..

Price of ferry is half basically half price at the moment as there is a short break offer on for this weekend.

So for a car and 2 passengers the price is £118

An exec Double at the sefton is £180 for two nights

So anyone interested would be looking at a minimum of the following:

£118 - Ferry
£130 - Hotel

Total = £248

or with half day at the track (based on 10 cars)

Total £448

obviously its the track day that is wacking the price up so much, but if we can get more than 10 cars the price will go down.. so the more the merrier!
