***UK NORTHERN MEET DETAILS***

Sorry for the delay guys & gals, but hopefully things are just about sorted.

Firstly, the original date qouted of 26th March 2006 seemed initially good until someone kindly informed me that this is Mothers Day , so I hope everyone is ok with the following weekend, 2nd April 2006.

Moving swiftly on to the venue which was highly recommended by a good friend , lovely location, parking for approximately 80 cars and the Sunday Lunch is apparently a blinder. Going for lunch weekend after next myself to satisfy the meet requirements, as well as check on some of the scenic driving routes nearby.

Details & Location: www.parsonagehotel.co.uk

Meet at 12.00 followed by Lunch at 13.00 then off for a spirited drive through some of the best countryside in the UK.

Please reply with number of attendees to enable me to organise for lunch no's etc.

Hope you are all still available.

C.

Driving Routes

This is about 6 miles away for me I can help out with some local driving routes. However, there is one route which simply tops them all, very popular with bikers, but its a trip to the coast via the back roads and takes about 2 hrs (there and back). This is a country back road and has very good cross country section not heavily used, and the beast simply eats everything in its wake, only very daring bikers dare pass.

Cableguy - pm when you plan on visiting the venue, perhaps we should meet and decide which route.

If the 2hr driving route is too long, the local dual carridgeway ring road offers a 4 miles round trip circuit. I can help out where the safe play zones are.

Cableguy,

Sorry for replying earlier but have been sorting out a number of things on the calendar. I can't commit fully at this stage - can you put me down as a possible for (2).

Due to unforseen Family circumstances, I will unfortunately be unable to attend the planned meet on Sunday 2nd April 2006.

May I thank you all for your responses and enthusiasm towards the planned event, and hope that all parties interested will go ahead with the meet.

My apologies for any inconvenience, and hope to see all Men, Women & Beasts in the very near future.

Regards,
Carl

I'm sorry you are having to contend with such unforseen circumstances - they are rarely pleasant. I hope you manage to sort them. Thank you for taking the time & trouble to arrange the meet; I'm still going and I hope to see you at the next one.

I thought it might be a good idea to check that people are still going. There should be:

Inca (2)
LancsM5MAN (2)
Evil Vanos (1)
granville-fall (1)
dave_gt (1)
BIG YLO as a possible 2.

I just don't fancy turning up to find that I'm the only one there
