Hello and a Happy New Year to everyone.

Due to much positive interest, I thought it time to invite all fellow M5'ers for for the first of many (hopefully) northern meets.

Initial interest is from Yorkshire, Derbyshire, Cheshire & Lancashire, so maybe once we have a clearer picture as to where people are coming from, we can decide on a location fairly quickly to avoid disappointment. Initial thought are in the YORK / LEEDS area.

Now for the good part - Who's in?

Carl, I can recommend any Pride of Britain hotel as a venue - all very nice - just have a look here and select one that's most convenient:

I suggest that you guys agree the location then book numbers for lunch asap - contact the hotel directly and speak to their restaurant manager. You will to hazard a guess for number of attendees based on the response here. Don't overbook though, be conservative - better to add numbers later than to commit/pay for no-shows.
