I agree with you on the "morons" part but not so sure about the "only" part. Can't be paid enough to live out yonder!
I am open for a Vegas get together. How about we meet at Starbucks on Charleston (CR-215) one of these Sunday's morning for some caf then drive the Red Rock loop.
Sounds good, as soon as I get my oil seperator's fixed. The car is shooting oil into my airbox.

Let me know when you guys want to do it. A drive out to the Valley of Fire for a picnic then do the Lake Mead loop on the way back is also a fantastic short trip.

I will be in Vegas tomorrow (M5less) for the CES show. God, I love that town. Staying at the Monte Carlo and the Wynn. (half work half vacation.)
