Dutch/Belgian M5/540/Alpina MiniMeeting

Gentlemen drivers,

I 'm doing a try- out if there's any interest for Dutch/Belgian owners to do a meeting somewhere around the first quarter of 2006.

I 've already PMd some of the dutchies I know , but I'm just recently introduced to this site and don't know more than 5 dutch owners at most..

If anyone is interested. PM me in when & where you come from, for we can look in to a location in space and time that suits most people...

I figure it to be a quite simple meeting, but any ideas are welcome off course!!

Cheers,

Wouter de Jong

The Ring-meetings are enough for me, and it will be a few years before the e34 M5 is officialy out of the idiot-stage it the NL, so I know the owners I need to know, and would rather not meet the rest.

Same here

@Wouter,

It also is a matter of setting priorities. I have a wife and two young boys and each and every meeting that I attend requires advance planning, especially if that interferes with work / daycare ect. This also is the reason that the Alps meeting is the one and only multiple day event that I attend. As for the rest, the meeting has to be worth it for me to spend my time, hence why I avoid all those generic events, especially those that can be concidered as pick-nicks organized by people who are afraid to drive their cars.

Ring meetings with friends, OK! Either Saturday or Sunday, but not both! That is not fair to my wife and kids, nor myself for that matter as I hardly see my kids during weekdays, i.e, I am leaving home before the kids are awake and return home after the kids have gone to bed.
