NEW DATE 2nd December UAE Meet Al Ain

Hi guys, now that we have started I think we should set a standard, and go for the first Friday in each month for our meetings, if you think this is too much let me know. This would date our 2nd meeting for the 2nd December.
Our second meeting is to be held in Al Ain and we should meet at the Hilton Hotel as this is relatively close to the Jebel Hafeet Mountain and a good staging area shown on all our sat navs. I think it would be a good idea to meet at 1.30pm for coffee in the coffee shop on the ground floor and then leave for the mountain at around 3pm. As this is after the holy month of Ramadan the fasting period will be over and we will need to book our tables at the mountain-top Jebel Hafeet Mercure Grand Hotel, they have a nice informal outside restaraunt near the pool with some stunning views and reasonable prices, also a lovely terrace restaraunt/bar and an Oriental restaraunt it is popular on the weekends so booking is imperative let me know as soon as you can if you are available.

Might be a good idea for you Dubai guys to talk and arrange a staging meet in Dubai and come up together, dont forget that the Muslim members will all need to be in Al Ain in plenty of time for their Friday prayers and then to meet afterwards at the Hotel Hilton for coffee so my suggestion is that you meet at around 11am and make your way to Al Ain. Arrive at the Hilton at around 12.00 in time for the Prayers and the non-muslims can have a nice relaxed lunch at the Hilton. My company has good discounts in the Hilton and I will ask the hotel to extend the same to M5board members, they also have some good rates for overnights at around 300 dirhams a night if anybody wants to stay over, Al Ain is a beautiful and quiet city, almost like a big village in some respects and there are some wonderful things to see there. Dubai to Al Ain should be a nice drive for you all. Jebel (Mountain) Hafeet stands over the city of Al Ain and has a perfect 13km road climb with some stunning views on the way to the Mercure Grand Hotel sat right at the top of this stunning 1340 meter highest mountain in the UAE.

This meeting will be our last of the year as December sees a lot of us going off for our Holidays back home, so this meeting should seriously discuss the Bahrain meeting early next year, maybe the 3 musketeers from Bahrain will join us to tell us about their plans? Hope so guys.

I will also try to get the Chiplogic guys there and perhaps we can have a look at their facilities and see what they are offering, they have a great reputation in this area for computer tuning the E39 M5 and I am sure they will be happy to attend.

Anyway thats my idea for the next meeting giving us all plenty of time to sort things out so let me know if anybody is unavailable and tell your friends all are welcome (Except M3'ers) . No seriously everybody is welcome but we need numbers as soon as possible.
Waiting for your responses

This meeting is not cast in stone so if anybody has any better ideas for location and dates please feel free to share them with us. I am talking to the Emirates Palace to see if they can host one of our meetings the photo location there is stunning see my car to view some of my pics taken there. This is a fantastic hotel and for any of you who have not been there yet it is expensive but worth every dirham, I can honestly say that I had the best meal of my life there and the interior decoration is - well lets just say its quite tastefully done and you will not be dissapointed. I will try to get discounts as I know the GM quite well.
We will see for the future.

Cheers and lets do it again
