Well I have a beast again! I tried out a few cars, including a 2004 Corvette Z06, a 2005 M3 SMG, a 2005 M3 Six Speed Competition Package...and I decided to go back with a E39 M5! I used to have a 2002 White M5 about a year ago. This time it is a 2003 Silver M5 (loaded). I will have some pictures for you all soon. It is stock for now. I am really itching to get some rims and some exhaust. I would love to meet up with some Atlanta members to hear some different exhaust sounds like Dinan, Tubi, etc...
I am so happy to have an M5 again! I don't know why I was so stupid to sell my other one about a year ago.
Please let me know if you guys are interested in meeting up, I would love to hear a few exhausts before I buy one. I used to have Eissenmann Race, and I liked it, but I'm open to new options and hearing some more in person. My name is Garrett and my cell is 404-401-0208 so call me if you want to meet up. I'm in the Buckhead area.
I live in the Alpharetta area and drive a 2003 M5, Silver / Black as my weekend fun car. My daily driver is a 2001 740i sport and my wife drives a 2000 528i sport. My mods to date include UUC short shifter and 35% window tint.
I've been considering the 2006 Covette Z06, what were your impressions of the 2004 model?
I love Corvettes but I have grown to love BMW's way more over the years. The 2004 Z06 was nice, raw power, great for a weekend toy. I also had a few other Corvettes, one of which was a highly modified silver 2002 Z06 that looked like the Corvette World Challenge race cars...I loved it! I don't blame you for being interested in that new Z06! I have a deposit on one, but I can't afford both the M5 and a new Z06 right now. By the way, I am number 16 in line at Tom Jumper if you want my spot! Let's meet up some time, I would love to test out your UUC shifter since I am in the market for one of those.
I would love to meet up with other Atlanta M5 owners. Unfortunately, I will be out of town this weekend. I'm in the East Cobb area.
I am also interested in exhausts as mine is stock right now.
See ya soon!

Seems like we should have an exhaust meet. How about next weekend the 22-23 of october. We can get together around the perimeter mall area, if thats convinient for most people and discuss everything. I am open to suggestions for a place to sit down.
That sounds great! Count me in. Maybe we could meet back behind the Houlihans and Eatzis plaza at Perimeter kind of in that back left parking area where some European car meets have been held before...Others please chime in if you can make it to the meet.
We may have the Georgia-Arkansas game on the 22nd, though.

I would love to stop by and check out exhausts, but the Georgia-Arkansas game is that weekend. Is this weekend possible?
Since this might be a first meet, we can meet before the game sometime, and chat a little. Maybe sometime iin the afternoon or whenever the game is not on. I am sure everyone has ideas to contribute to their own cars as well as others. I am open whenever so whatever you guys decide, I'll go along. I can meet this weekend and next weekend.
