Hi Mike,
On a different topic, I'm also thinking about the Willow Springs event in December, with TCRA.(http://www.touringcarclub.com).
I just did an event last weekend at Willow SPrings in conjunction with POC. It was a great weekend, but very busy on the track (30-35 cars per session). I rented the transponder and did the time-trial, but it was way too crowded to get a decent time. My best was 1:49, kinda weak.
It'll be nice to get more M5's out there and get together again.

Or we can leave earlier, maybe around 4 PM.
I'm in the West San Fernando Valley. Let me know.
Ed
Actually, I was thinking we should go later, since they are open til 10. It'll also be cooler for better runs (although the altitude doesnt help). I would only want to do a handful of runs anyway. Dont want to kill the clutch and tires. Let me know.

Sounds like a plan. The tires are not an issue, the clutch is.
Last time, I was there by 7 PM and got about 6 runs. It can get pretty busy sometimes, though. I'll probably leave around 6 PM or so.
