DFW ///M Club SPECIAL EVENT March 8 - 9 Eagles Canyon Raceway

PCA is sponsoring a DE event at Eagles Canyon Raceway March 8 - 9.

PCA link: http://mav.pca.org/Events/DE.asp
Eagles Canyon: http://www.eaglescanyon.com/php/welcome.php
Registration: (If you have not previously done so you will need to create a login ID to register) http://www.clubregistration.net/driv...TOKEN=28032632

Some of the more experienced track guys will (hopefully) chime in here and explain more about what is actually involved in the event. If you want to sign up for the full event I would suggest doing so ASAP. The DE events are very popular and sell out a few weeks in advance.

For those that are unable to attend the full event or unsure if this is really for them we will go ahead with our normal weekly event at Starbucks in Plano (Park Blvd & Tollway) at 9 am and then leave at 10 am and head out to Eagles Canyon to check out the track and learn more about the DE events. As an added bonus I am told there will an opportunity (for a small donation) to actually take your car onto the track for a parade lap (which means low speeds and no risk of damage to your car). If you have never driven on a track this sounds like a great opportunity to check it out.

We probably will not have time to stop for lunch and I am unsure whether Eagles Canyon has concessions available. I would suggest planning on packing lunch, snacks and drinks.

You may also check the thread on the M3Forum for more information: http://www.m3forum.net/m3forum/showt...87#post2718087

Regards,

Scott

Great event I have a shirt on actually today I got from a event.

If you have never been to a track you will get a instructor to teach you about the track how to properly use the track and facility. What not to do and the first steps of driving on a track.

May see some of you thier
