Will do, Ray. Like I said, it's a longshot. Unless my staff suddenly decides to get off their azzes and actually do some work, I'll be cutting it mighty close. But man, do I want to go

Well damn. Now I have to go to school AJ

If all of you think you'll have your fill by 1PM, then why don't you get there a bit later than 9? You could avoid morning rush and get some more sleep...just a thought. But certainly don't do it on my account b/c, again, the chances of me getting there on time are slim.

I'll be on the phone with Kevin today. They are not expecting any snow to stick down there, which is very good. It may be that the track won't be dry enough to run until 10 or 11 tomorrow, but it is too soon to know. I still plan on being there early to make sure that the prep is what we expect.

At a rental held earlier this week during one of the rainy days, they were not able to run until 11:30. But that was an overcast and humid day (it rained that afternoon). Our weather for tomorrow is forecasted to be sunny with a slight breeze, which obviously helps dry out the track much sooner. Heck, I'll be driving up and down the track slowly to help dry it out myself.

For Boner's benefit, I believe that tomorrow evening is a regular track day test & tune. So even though our rental officially ends at 4:30, we can always hang around and run during the evening with all of the other paying customers. Kevin may make us all pay the $20 or so they charge or, if we can't start running until 11-ish, he may just let us stay with the regular crowd.

All in all, I am predicting a fun day.

Thanks for the info, Enz. I plan on giving Kelster a call on Friday afternoon to let him know if I can make it down. But since you're now saying that you may not get to start till late morning, can one of you call or send me a text message in the AM to let me know if you're getting a late start and plan on staying later? This way, I won't have to rush like a madman to get out of work (I hate feeling rushed, esp at work). Enz, I know you have my number. Kelster, I'll PM you my cell. Thanks. Now I'm really hoping I can get down there.

Just got off the phone with Kevin Sway. We will run tomorrow, but probably not before 10:30. They will start cleaning the track at 8 when people get in for work.

We can speed up the clean-up if Kevin fires up the jet engine, but it costs $750 to fire that baby up. Not sure it is worth it to get an extra hour of running.

THERE IS NO TEST & TUNE TOMORROW NIGHT. WHEN WE ARE DONE AT 4:30, THE TRACK CLOSES. I was wrong in assuming they were open on Friday nights.

Atco's website is down. Here are directions from a cached page off google:

Take NJ Turnpike to Exit 7, Rt. 206. Take 206 south 15 miles to the Red Lion Circle, after the circle turn right at 2nd traffic light. Go to the 2nd street (Oakshade Road) and turn left. Go 6 miles to track.

From Walt Whitman bridge take 295 north to Exit 36A, Rt. 73 to Berlin Circle. After the circle go to second traffic light which 534. Take 534 east 3 miles to track. From Betsy Ross or Tacony/Palmayra bridge follow Rt. 73 to Berlin Circle. After the circle go to second traffic light which is 534. Take 534 east 3 miles to track.

Take NJ Turnpike to Exit 4 or Rt. 295 north to Exit 36A. Take Rt. 73 south 10 miles to Berlin Circle, After the circle go to second traffic light which is 534. Take 534 east 3 miles to track.

Take exit 88 off Garden State Parkway, take Rt 70 West for 33 miles to Rt 206 circle, proceed for 2.3 miles on Rt 206,make a right at the second light ( Medford Lakes Road), go 2 blocks and make a left on Oakshade Rd, stay on Oakshade (RT534 West, for 7.3 miles and it will bring you right to the track.

Boner - the good news is that if we start running later, the odds are that more people will stay until 4:30. Heck, maybe they will let us stay a bit longer.
