Hey guys. Lorenzo, nice seeing you again. I ran a 13.7 @ 102. I had a good 60' (track was great) but I was about 4-5 mph off my good trap. I dont think my car was running great because of waiting in the lined too long. Hope to see you guys soon. We should go on a Friday.
I called E-town today to inquire about a rental in early November. The person who handles it is at an NHRA convention but will be back on Friday. I will find out the cost and see what is involved.
The form is availalbe online at Atco and it looks like its about $2,300 for 15 cars with decent track prep. $150 a head is certainly not cheap, but to know that the track is yours, it will be prep'd to perfection, you won't have to wait an hour (or 3.5 hrs) for your runs, and that the cars that are running are not liable to spew fluid on any given run is a nice feeling.

I finally heard back from the new GM. Forget E-town. The cost is $3,000 ($200 per car). I don't mind spending $50 more to avoid having to go the extra distance to Atco. But it may be an issue for the other 14 guys we have to get together. The big issue (the killer) for me is that they only allow you to use one lane.
He was surprised to hear that Atco lets you use both lanes and that it is "only" $150 per car.
Any interest in Atco?
