M5 vs. CL55

We went off a light. I pulled him immediately down low by about a car and half. I hit second and my bald tires did not grip at all. He made up some ground at this point but I held half a car on him to 110 miles an hour. It was one of the greatest races I ever had.

Re: M5 vs. CL55

So this was one of the NA models, probably 349 HP? No matter what, nice kill, all of the 55 cars are VERY stout.

Re: M5 vs. CL55

It was definitely the Kompressor. The guy put the window down and asked me what the hell I had done to my car. It was like an '04 with rims.

So what did you do to your car to beat a compressor equipped 55?

Re: M5 vs. CL55

For now I have the Active Intake, Borla Exhaust, temperature relocator, and a chip. I am about to put headers, pulleys, and a new custom chip for everything.

Re: M5 vs. CL55

Good kill! The CL klass is one of the heaviest benz cars around! Surpringly... had it been an S klass.... it might have been a different story!!!!

But the E39 M5 can take on cars ahead of its time TODAY! Thats why it will always be a legend!

Re: M5 vs. CL55

Very nice, if somebody has a more expensive car it doesnt always mean that he is winner! Nice kill! CL55 is too big and too comfortable for racing, its just a big comfortable boat for a long driving. M5 is beast
