Yesterday I talked to the tuner who built up the 335, he told me it's putting out >400 hp.
I recently drove a 335 for 3 weeks while mine was in the shop. Nice 3 series with decent power. Faster than a E60 M5 at triple digit speeds, even with an extra 125 hp? Wishful pipe dream indeed.

I know who this guy is. He and I use the exact same tuner and I've personally seen his car on three different occasions at the tuning shop.
I know he has a special fab'd IC (or at least it was going to be fab'd the last time I spoke to my tuning guy), plus the Procede v1 (and was about to install v2 if I remember correctly). Also, the tuner created him a custom exhaust with no cats. That's about all I can remember. He had BBS RS-GT wheels when I saw the car last, but not sure if he still has them.
My tuner says his car is very fast for a 335i. I'd love to run it just for the sake of doing so. I can get it setup through my tuner. I'll work on it for next weekend.

I can not believe I read this entire thread. What a bunch of bullsh*t. The inconsistencies are so outrageous. He also needs to learn how to spell, I mean we all goof once in a while but damn. This guy needs to really run an M5 an get spanked. You guys out there in Dallas take care of business. This guy is just spouting off. So he has a fast car but not to out run an M5 as he says. It probably was stock but a friend ran a 335 with a Maxima 3.5 with headers and exhaust and he demolished it.
Yall saw the car up at stett, its got some more work done. Which one of yall got the nos system hooked up? Id love to run a near stock M5 and video tape it, me and chad were discussing that aftet the run on the tollway. The car has no gov, M5's, hopefully like my M6. are goverend at 205 right?
I don't doubt the guy's car is fast. I bet the driver of the M5 wasn't really getting on it due to traffic.
Also, there is no way you can tell if the car has an upgraded ECU tune on it like he claims (unless I misunderstood). I know of two black M5's with Eisenmann Race oval tips in my area and I know at least one of them does not have software. I have not met the owner of the other car yet.
I wonder if it could have been Metalman he was referring to?
Some blonde guy it was an eisenmann race, the sound and tips gave that away, he had a texas sticker to the left of his liscence plate. Afterwords we drove up next to eashother and gave thumbs up, he seemed impressed, the car stuck with him really well untill we got way up there in speed and he just took off and I shut it down.
