Video + Pics: Porsche 911 Turbo X50 Techart on race track

A series of shots from the video where an Audi RS4 with about 450 bhp (ACE Competition / Hohenester) is passed by a Porsche 911 Turbo X50 Techart. The RS4 reaches about 190 km/h on the straight and the Porsche around 220-230 km/h.

The sound from the Porsche is...lovely...scaring!!!

Just curious, are Autoweek and Autocar the same magazine?? Because I read "Autocar" on the bottom left and right of the first and second pages respectively.

So, if the 996 X50 is THAT fast, could you imagine how fast Lonman's GT2 is..... pulled on a 996 X50 despite missing a gear.

Tuned vs Stock? They (GT2-X50)basically do the same #'s in stock form. (The X50 has all the same components as the Gt2) except in a "luxury", all wheel drive, user friendly format The Gt2 comes with a helmet, and track time w/ a driving instructor

Dna3d, Your right. It is Auto Car

No they don't. In fact it is not even close. taking into account the weight difference, power difference etc....there is still a big difference between the two. I've had both, and raced both (on the road and track). The GT2 is stock will leave an X-50 on the road easily and murder it on the track.

Lowman,
Maybe my sense of humor was a little off "Track", but I was trying to Imply that the Gt2 is in fact an entirely different animal. (Helmet, track time..)......I'd be curious to know out of all the cars you have owned, what has impressed you the most? (all around)
All the best
