Turbo 997.2

I've been following closely on rennteam.com on their Turbo 997.2 thread and I thought we needed one here too!

So far we know it will be introduced around November, will have optional PDK and 500 hp. A Turbo S with 530 hp will come later with PDK as the only choice of gearbox. We also know that paddles will be an optional instead of buttons (yay!).

What is your take on performance? Discuss!

LOL it seems so does it not.. Anyways, yes very interesting to see how the turbo will turn out. and of course we shall probably see a new GT2 version as well because this one will be too close to being faster... my guess is it will be the 530hp straight away and be called turbo S but we shall see. And the paddles for the PDK is great news. the buttons on the front of the wheel are not so good..

The info was taken from an intern Porsche memo. 500 hp at first, 530 hp in the beginning of 2010. And yes, they WILL have to make a new GT2, because with 50 extra hp and 0.2 seconds saved on every shift the Turbo.2 probably will be faster than the GT2 from 0-200.
