Straightline Performance in 997.2 S/4S

Now I know a Porsche is not primarily about straight line performance, but I'd be interested to hear from anyone who has driven one what it is like. I have been for a ride in a 997 Turbo, and that thing has unbelievable performance in a straight line, but when I got a ride in a 997.1 4S, it just didn't provide that "pin you to your seat" feeling.

So whats the new 997.2 like in the straight line performance department, compared to, say, an E60 M5? Thanks in advance.
