Hi,
I don't post threads here very often anymore. Adam, Kees and other Porsche old timers, this thread is for you.
A few friends and I had lunch together on Saturday, and these Porsches made a group appearance:
My Daughter: She drove my 2007 base Cayman.
Me: 1995 Ruf BTR-2, 436 HP, 2WD.
Steve: 1996 Arena Red Ruf Turbo R, 506 HP. Custom center-exhaust.
Now the star of the show:
Jochen: 1996 Andial 3.8L 993 GT2. His car has 500+ horses, and weights 2,850 lbs. Alum race doors and hood, AWD-delete to become a 2 WD, sunroof-delete, lightweight laminate rear glass, etc. etc. It is a beast. I love them original Speedline for Porsche wheels. This car is as authentic as one gets as far as genuine 993 GT2 parts go. For you folks who follows Porsche racing history, his name: Jochen Rohr, may ring a bell for you.
For me, the 993 GT2 is the most incredible Porsche road car design I have seen. I have seen a few in person, but Jochen's car takes the cake.
This is quite a collection of rare Porsche samples. May be except for the Cayman. So without further adieu, here are the pics. Enjoy.
