My new 997TT w/Twin GT30R's and standalone

here is a link to a video of my new 997TT built by Switzer Performance Innovation with a standalone. Some of the mods include GT30R turbochargers, custom intercoolers, switzer headers and exhaust with bypass pipe, and of course the standalone. the video is of the 997TT being driven on the road for the first time. we still have alot of tuning left to do but so far so good. enjoy!

yes. the car didn't last too long after i got it back from evoms. in fact, the clutch failed on my drive home from phoenix to cleveland so i had to get it towed to my dealer in cleveland. after we put a new clutch in it, the engine blew up after 2 weeks of driving it. so i gave it to switzer to work on. he will work on it after he finishes my 997 turbo. Switzer Performance Innovation is located in Oberlin, OH (just outside of Cleveland)

First, that's beautiful. Now, to pick your brain...

How's the spool on the GT30's as opposed to the stock variable-vane turbos? Did you go with .63 or .82 A/R? Please compare your 996's to the 997 in terms of power delivery. Why the taper on the intake tube? Are you running meth/alky with your pump gas tune, at what PSI?

Pls let me know if you sell one of your babies.

the gt30's spool suprisingly quick. i think if my memory serves me correctly, we were at full boost (1.2 bar) on the dyno in 4th gear by 4000 rpms. everything is for sale, at the right price. the 997 is absolutely awesome since it runs on 93 octane pump gas and still makes enough power to walk away from my carrera gt.

Now that seems like a FAST 997 Turbo! The RPM was built up very fast there at idling. Impressive. Sounds very good as well.

Now PLEASE do a Carrera GT vs 911 Turbo 997 comparo
