new garage mate

finally got my '08 GT3! it was a long hunt and was fortunate enough to land one locally. my other dealer could not at all get me an allocation since february.

driving impressions? can't say much for now as all i did was drove it home and stayed under 4k rpm as it is brand spankin' new with 20 mi on the clock. i can tell you though the sound from the cabin even at the low rpms is like music. can't wait 'til after break-in and let 'er rip. the steel brakes, however, squeeked LOUD to a slow stop. if i brake aggressively, then no sound. thinking maybe some bedding is required. looks like others are experiencing the same thing with the brakes. oh well, the car is amazing from my initial impression.

my 3 yr old son got so excited he couldn't hold his nose.

he wanted to take it out for a spin already!

Congratulations!!!

You will love it!

I bought a GT3 a few months ago to go with my M5 as well...

Mine does not have a sunroof and traction control though

Just teasing -- absolutely beautiful... congratulations and make sure you get to the track in that thing!
