supersprint mufflers

I've changed exhaust and am selling my supersprint mufflers. I've had them for about 16 mos /16k miles, and they are in good shape. I'm asking $800 for the pair.

Re: supersprint mufflers

What did you change to? How do these sound compared to the Tubi's? What other parts would I need?

Thx, Steve

I switched to dinan and put the stock resonator back in. I wanted a change, i wanted to go a little quieter. Check out beastpower.com for sound clips. These are nothing like the standard tubi's in sound, probably similar to the rumore, or the rumore plus (which doesn't have resonators). The supersprints produce a deeper v8 muscle car sound, vs the tubi being more of an exotic wail. You don't need any other parts, the stock mufflers are cut off and the supersprints are clamped on in place. You could weld, but clamps seem to work well, and are nice if you want a change later on.

Everyone asks about tips, i never knew there were choices, but i have the 4 x 90mm tips like you see if you look at the installs on the discovery auto site.
They are considerably larger than the stock 70mm.

very pleased. Nice mellow burble at idle, great sound a wot, still pretty quiet. It's nice to have a slightly different look as well, a little more OE looking.

Thanks for the input, my brother just installed the Dinan exhaust on his 4.8is. Sounds great on his X5, So I was thinking about it.

I am looking for a exhaust for my m5. Please let me know if it is still available. If so does the supersprint come with the x pipe as well?
