FS - Vortech V3 Supercharger < 3K miles

For sale is my Vortech V3 supercharger from my RK Stage 2 build on my E39 M5. I'm moving to a larger SC due to building a sleeved engine where I will run more boost.

The SC is in excellent shape and has less than 3K miles on the unit. The pulley shown in the picture is not included.

$1500.00 takes it - you pay shipping and insurance from USA 21054. Best I can tell these are over $2300 new so I believe this to be a reasonable price.

Refurb SC sell for $800 < than new. So I'd say you are right about there. I know someone who might need it for a project.

Great, thanks. Much appreciated. I'm trying to be proactive and get rid of stuff I don't need rather than stockpiling it forever...

Pat, I'd buy it right now if it weren't clocked for the RK kit. My ESS V3 has about 40k miles and I'm considering a rebuild.

You can re-clock it. Back to the proper, non-leaky way.

Yup, I rotated mine which I bought from you since it wasn't a part from an ESS kit. Pretty easy job. Or you guys talk for reclock which is something different (changing the direction of blowing)?

I'm guessing reclock==rotate. In speaking to Vortech today, this is a V3-SI and it spins CW when referencing the pulley toward the front of the car. If I understood Vortech correctly, a CCW rotation has the pulley facing toward the firewall of the car. I reached out to Vortech today as I've had some Mustang enthusiasts reach out to me about this unit working on their cars. Got that story straight now...
