Yeah, I passed on the alt pulley... couldn't find a good way to remove it, even tried a pipe wrench and 24mm socket on the nut with a pipe wrench on it and running the T50 through the opening of the socket... no joy. The rest of it was pretty easy, 2.5 hours all in, with a couple of breaks.

I filed flat on 2 sides of the 24mm socket and used a crescent wrench with the T50 through the socket. Took some force but came loose quickly. Going to try heating the pulley before installing.

Received and installed the pulleys. Excellent fit and finish. These billet pulleys are much better than the plastic crap that the car came with.
Thank you Franz!!!

Any other feedback on the pulleys? Noticeable driving improvements or possibly legit dyno gains?

Haven't bothered with a dyno run, but the throttle is a little more responsive / revs faster. I also have a lightweight DMF, so that helps a lot as well...

I used to run lighter/underdrive crank pulleys on all my cars that they were available for...
Always an install it and forget it part... as mentioned, should feel slightly more responsive, and feel like the car dropped a little weight. Never had any issues in the past with underdriven alternator, but then again, I wasnt running any monster stereos either.

Looking fwd to installing this set on my M5... expecting the similar results.

mgdmb.. which LWFW are you running? (That's another must do upgrade)

I have the CNS 10.5", it's ~32 pounds vs. ~44 for OE. I refuse to go single mass, my friend had one in his 996 and it sounded like ***... @M5 Jed also makes one in standard 9.45", think it's 6-7 pounds lighter than stock...
