E39 M5 Style 65 Refinished Wheels & New Tires Square Set

For sale is a square set of Wheels and Tires.

The wheels are Style 65, 18x9.5, refinished in a powdercoat silver. The refinish is a solid 8.5/10.

The tires are a brand new set of Continental Extreme Contact DW's, 275/35 ZR18.

These would look absolutely fantastic on a light colored car, such as a Silverstone, TiAg, or even an Avus Blue, or a LMB.

Asking $2400 + shipping costs.

I would prefer to sell local, but first come, first served.

PM if interested.

Well obviously I am very interested. But I am clear on the other side of the country. Probably a couple of hundred to ship. Not sure if this will work for me. Why do you have these. Where did they come from?

I purchased the wheels from a local enthusiast, already refinished. I was going to keep the set for myself, since I always wanted to go square.

However, I have since changed my mind, and have my eyes on a set of Beyern Munich wheels, that I would like to run square instead.

I have not mounted the wheels since getting them wrapped with the Continentals.

OK well how do we figure out the cost of shipping. Are you able to wrap the wheels to be sure they get here without scratches. Not done this before. any suggestions on shipping. Like to get a handle on the shipping cost.

The wheels will be shipped as follows->How To Ship Wheels With Tires

Each wheel will be covered with cardboard to protect the face and rear of the rim, then shrink-wrapped. After that, each wheel will be placed in a cardboard box, 30x30x12 inches with protection for the tires.

Each box weighs approximately 50lbs. I can remove the air out of the tires to save a few bucks, with your consent.

I had FedEx give me a quote today to a zip code in California (95051-6921). This is a zip code that I use on eBay to estimate the maximum shipping costs on items, before I ship them. So far, using this zip code has always produced a fair estimate of the maximum amount of shipping items to anyone in the country.

FedEx quoted me $79.43 for each box.

Your costs should be lower, but I won't know without an actual zip code to confirm.

I am afraid I am going to have to bow out. It is now pushing over $2700. 00 and that is just passing my limit. Sorry to waste your time. No square setup for me for now.

Did you consider selling your current set to help offset the cost?

Jerry
